It’s finally that time. My Go with Oh Euro trip is about to begin. It’s been nearly six months since I was announced as the winner of their blogger competition, but it feels like yesterday. Months of planning with my travel partner-in-crime, Lola, have simply flown by. On November 5th I say goodbye to Houston and set out for the first destination in the Go with Oh Tour.

I’ve got a month crammed full of fun and fabulousness, and I want you to come along. Follow every step of our craziness as Lola and I will be updating Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram {LeahTravels and loladimarco…follow us there!} in real time. Our blogs will be updated as much as possible, as will Pinterest. We’ll have videos along the way as well. When it comes to Lola and me, I say always expect the unexpected. I’m serious when I said I’d like for you to come along, well virtually anyway. Go with Oh has come up with some great incentives for you to help us out in our grand adventure. You see, we’ve had months to research and plan, but we can’t be expected to find every single great thing in each city. That’s where you come in.

Second Chance to Win

Remember when I promised that we’d keep you entertained and possibly shaking your head? Well, besides our usual affinity for finding mischief and engaging in general tomfoolery, we’re also calling on you to fuel our fires. Lola and I are looking for a list of challenges in each of our destinations. Perhaps you’ve encountered a bachelorette party where the bride-to-be has a check list of things she has to do by the night’s end? Well, we’re going to do something like that, but better!

Let your imagination run wild on this. Perhaps you want to see Lola take a dip in the Trevi or you’d like for me to eat pork blood cake in Tuscany. We will provide photo or video evidence and post it to our Facebook pages and through Twitter. We promise to consider all of your requests, but keep in mind that I do have a fear of deportation. Of course, that’s just one of the risks when you invite Lola along on your trip. Here’s what you need to do to enter:

When Lola and I change cities, a new round of competition begins.

The more suggestions and dares you tweet, the more chances you have to win. Oh, speaking of winning. What are the prizes you ask? Well, for each round, Go with Oh will give away either a 75€ voucher towards one of their fabulous European apartments or a 75€ gift card to Amazon. That’s pretty sweet for a simple tweet, no? Pinterest Contest

Go with Oh is also having a Pinterest contest for all you pinning-obsessed people. Lola and I LOVE Pinterest {follow our boards here and here}. This is your chance to win a two-night say in one of the Go with Oh apartments. Here’s what you have to do to enter:

1.  Repin this photo.

2. Follow Go with Oh on Pinterest.

3. Go to the album “I want to Go with Oh to…” and repin your favorite destination.

4. Comment as to why you’d like to visit that city.

5. Tag the comment with @GowithOh and the hashtag #MyGowithOhTrip.

You can’t beat that with a stick. Easy enough, right? Head on over to Pinterest and start dreaming of which of the ten Go with Oh European cities you’d like to visit. Blogger Contest

Last, but certainly not least, is the biggest and baddest blogger contest in the entire blogosphere. This is your chance to take the baton from me and become the spring 2013 Go with Oh guest blogger. Does spending a month in Europe with accommodations paid tickle your fancy? It certainly did mine. It doesn’t matter what you blog about, if you’ve got yourself a little piece of Internet real estate then you’re eligible to enter. Here’s what you gotta do:

1. Choose one city from the following: Barcelona, Berlin, Dublin, Florence, London, Paris, Prague, Rome, Venice, or Vienna.

2. Create and write about your dream trip to the chosen city.

3. Entitle your post, “I want to ‘Go with Oh’ to {name of chosen city}. Dazzle the judges with your writing prowess and dream-trip details. Include the ‘Go with Oh’ badge. Include an active link to GowithOh.com. Lastly, tell your readers about how they can win through the Go with Oh Facebook competition {details to be updated soon}.

4.  Tweet this: “Check out why I’d love to @GowithOh to {city name}.” Include the URL of your blog post as well as the hashtag #iWantToGowithOh.

As you might know, I’m a bit over-the-top and just a tiny bit competitive. This past spring when I threw my hat into the Go with Oh ring, I knew it was a writing competition. {Read my entry} However, I didn’t just sit back and wait for the judges to make their decisions. Instead, I created an international marketing campaign to keep my name in the forefront of their minds. I’d like to think that my writing alone won me the contest, but who am I trying to kid?

The twice-daily photos from Namibia, Iraq, Nepal, Rio, New Zealand, China, Wales, and a host of other places might have given me a slight edge as well. I had a winning model from Project Runway send me a photo from Times Square. You can see all those photos here and here. There was even a rap written and recorded in support of me. How does that happen?

Like I said, I might be a little competitive.

I’m not saying that all that is necessary to win, but it certainly wouldn’t hurt. So, best of luck to all of you want-to-be spring 2013 guest bloggers out there.
